The Struggle: Photography

Image
I suck at taking photos. I know it sounds so bad but I somehow can't seem to take a decent photo of most things and I guess I should be worried if I'm going to take this blog thing up another level. I'm working on improving my page and that includes amping my photography skills. Lawrence has been teaching me the basics and I'm in the process of getting the hang of it. He let me borrow his Canon 70 D but I'm starting off with my iPhone. ha! iPhone photography and it's still posts a challenge for me. I'm slow as a sloth when it comes to this. Let me show you some of the pictures I have taken recently. All except the first one are raw photos. In my opinion, these are way better than the ones I took before. ꈍ .̮ ꈍ  B & W Lawrence :) Ramen house The micro mini puppy Tootsie, my dog Bartholomew Moriter      These aren't the best, I know but I'm getting there! Any tips on how I can improve?:) Than...

My New Favorite: Black Beauty Conditioner

Image
Rebonding and coloring caused major-major damage to my locks and the struggle is.damn.real. I bought 10 packs of Black Beauty conditioner last week! Their Hot Oil treatment did my hair wonders but at PhP 17.50 per sachet, it's a bit pricey for daily use so I only have it once a week. I've been using the conditioner for three days now and it sure did help with my hair's brittle ends. Not only that, it also minimized the frizziness and dryness AND gave my hair volume. It doesn't leave any sticky, oily residue after washing! At PhP 10.50 (10 ml), it's safe to say that this is worth it. It costs a bit more than other brands but hey, your hair is your crowning glory. You gotta' give it some love! photo by: beautymnl P.S You might be wondering why I buy in packs rather than in bottles. Well, it's because of the budget.budget.budget!  However, I'm thinking of buying a big bottle now to lessen environmental damage. LOL And oh, you can purchase...

Indonesian Coffee: Kopi Temulawak Curcuma (Ginger Coffee)

Image
Kopi Temulawak (Curcuma) Lawrence got me this from Bali, Indonesia and my taste buds were jumping with joy. This is Arabica coffee + ginger  + curcuma (turmeric) +  cocoa. The blend is quite unique and interesting. I've never tried anything like it! It took me a while to get accustomed to the taste but it was pleasing to the senses as a whole. To give you an idea, just think - the bitter taste of coffee plus the rich taste of coca infused with ginger and turmeric. This one will give you a different kind of coffee experience for sure! ❤ Michelle  ❤
