PNA Membership Renewal (PNA Cebu)

Image
UPDATED January 30 2017 CPD is now a requirement for License renewal. For more info, click  here . ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------   The nurse in me will forever stay. With that comes the necessity of renewing licenses and ID's. It's a must..whether you like to or not. In my case, I'm slowly going back to my profession and this' one step further to becoming a "nurse."     So last week I was hard at getting requirements here and there. One of which was my PNA license. It's been two years since I had my PNA membership renewed! To anyone who needs an idea of what needs to be done, I hope this would be of some help. :)      PNA Cebu is located at Capitol Site, just near Dynasty Inn. Here's a map: I went around in circles before I finally got to their office, turned out they were located at the street behind STK. Or you can ask STK where their parking lot is...

Making Vietnamese Coffee (in Cebu!)

Image
Vietnamese coffee is meant to be relished and enjoyed to the fullest.  If you're the person who can't always afford a moment to sit back and chill, then maybe you can enjoy this kind of cup some other time. Vietnamese coffee is not to be rushed for brewing it takes time. A month ago, Lawrence and I went on a trip to Vietnam and returned with some goodies, a Phin and coffee beans of different varieties  Phin is the metal filter they use for brewing. I looked this up online and it costs around USD 7.00 - USD 10.00. That's around PhP 315 to 450. I bet costs cheaper in Vietnam (well of course!). You can try this with other brands. The process is basically the same. :) Today I'm going to show you how to make black Vietnamese coffee! Hurrah! There's some sort of science behind this so just read on my dears. (char!)

Cebu Marathon 2016!

Image
Hello everyone! I'm back! Allow me to express my overwhelming happiness here. (⊙ꇴ⊙)      I've just finished my first ever dead serious 21-km marathon!! Hurray! I've never been so motivated to finish something and the feeling of having such feat is just beyond words. It's true what they say, mind over matter. I fess up to this. Halfway through, my legs and back felt like they were literally going to break but I, along with a thousand and three hundred more, had to keep going...with a few short pit stops, that is. The muscle pain was almost unbearable. I didn't work so hard to just give up (plus the P1,500 would go to waste!) I timed in at 2:29:40. Ten seconds earlier than what I aimed for.
